Freedom and the Reader

Freedom for the reader of hypertext is the opportunity to choose the path(s) through a work. As with the author with freedom to provide information, readers decide how to gather information. To some extent, the reader can also annotate pages as well, thereby adding her own commentary or information to another's work.
