With hypertext and my redefinition of the text there is no "outside the scope of this article." Any argument I wish to make can simply be included in another node and linked to any number of documents. I don't have to necessarily interrupt one argument in favor of another. I can include many arguments as part of the text. Readera are responsible, then, for deciding which argument they want to pursue (which temporary text they want to create) because the text is not limited by a particular argument.
