Implications for Professional Communication
Throughout this work I argue, from a postmodern perspective, that hypertext on the Web calls for a new type of argumentation, one that gives the reader control, and one in which the author provides possibilities for moving through an open text. My conception of argumentation on the Web obviously has implications for professional communication, since all communication is rhetorical in nature. From the Internet to Intranets, Web technologies are likely to play a greater role in communication in the years to come.
