What's in a Name?

In part, I've chosen to name this section Introduction to illustrate a point: a beginning on the Web is the place where you start, not what I designate as the beginning. Chances are, unless you have the address (Uniform Resource Locator or URL) for this specific page and have not been browsing the Web prior to coming to here, this isn't a beginning at all. Also, if you've come through any other node, this isn't even the beginning of the work. I have other pages from which you can easily begin. And with bookmarks or hotlist available in browser software, you can store the URL and come to it any time you please. This is simply another node on the network.
