Re-Evaluating the Elements

As has often been pointed out in the hypertext literature, author, reader, and text must be re-evaluated. When these elements are analyzed in terms of hypertext and the World Wide Web it should be clear that print-based notions are not appropriate, that argument, author, reader, and text are significantly different in hypertext than in print. But with argument, the most significant difference between hypertext and print will be seen.
