Bypassing the Home Document
There are several software products on the market at the time of this writing that allow a reader to bypass the home document (the Web page the browser opens to by default) and go directly to a specified page. These products usually take a URL and launch a browser to go directly to that URL. In some cases, readers can go to a specific URL from within any text editing application.
