Temporary Arguments

During the process of authors and readers negotiating the terms of the argument, readers create a temporary text as they move through the network of information. These temporary texts are also temporary reader-constructed arguments. Since each session on the Web can create a temporary text, it can also create temporary arguments. In the process of readers getting information, they may string together parts of multiple temporary texts and arguments to eventually come to a conclusion.
